the G8 Summit in Rome.
My name is Mark Pisoni and I am the General Manager and principal Italian linguist for the Italian Translations Company, LLC. Thank you for visiting my company’s page.
After working for over a decade as an Italian conference interpreter, including a few stints as interpreter for the President of the United States, I have specialized in providing Italian translations, that is, written documents rather than the spoken word or “interpreting”. In any case, I still know some of the best Italian interpreters in the business so I’ll be happy to put you in touch with one if all you need is an interpreter.
My specialty fields as a freelance translator are finance, business, and legal. Over the years the Italian Translations Company, LLC has greatly expanded the number of fields we cover by adding several excellent Italian linguists as contractors, who do both translating and interpreting. We now have a roster of reliable, time-tested Italian linguists based both in Italy (English to Italian translations and interpreting) and the United States (Italian to English translations).
The main areas my team concentrates on are finance, business, legal, marketing, engineering, IT and medical (especially clinical studies).
The Italian Translations Company team includes some of the best Italian linguists in the world in their respective specialty fields. In fact, several large translation companies, which offer hundreds of different languages to Fortune 500 companies, have for many years relied on the Italian Translations Company to service their best clients for Italian.
Some of the companies we have provided Italian translations or interpreting services for include the following:
The Italian Embassy in Washington, D.C., the Italian Mission at the U.N., the Italian Trade Commission, NASDAQ, the National Geographic Society, the National Italian-American Foundation, RAI (Italian Public Television), UPS, the U.S. State Department and World Bank.
The list of companies we have provided Italian translations for indirectly since 1991, thanks to the mediation work of other larger multilingual agencies based in New York, London and Milan, includes American Express, Coca-Cola, IBM, Mitsubishi, Ford, Icon, DuPont, KPMG, Avis, Quintiles, Caterpillar, Carnival Cruises, Hilton Honors and hundreds more.
Because our linguists are based both in Italy and North America, we can take full advantage of the difference in time zones and are often able to deliver a translated document at close-of-business in the US by early the next morning (Eastern time).
